St. Luke’s Medical Centre was founded in 1903. It is equipped with 650 beds including critical care beds, suites, private and semi-private rooms, and ward and pediatric beds. The hospital houses 450 private clinics of over 1,700 affiliated medical consultants that see clients in an out-patient setting. The hospital has a total of 9 institutes, 13 departments, and 19 specialty centres.

In 2003, St. Luke’s gained its accreditation by the Joint Commission International. This makes it the first hospital in the Philippines to be accredited by the JCI.

St. Luke’s has a newly built building at the Fort Bonifacio Global City which will house more private clinics and patient rooms. The hospital offers a wide range of medical specialties including cardiovascular medicine, ophthalmology, cancer, neurology and neurosurgery, and liver and digestive diseases. It primarily serves patients from all over the Philippines. However, it also receives patients from other parts of the world including the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Micronesia, and Asia.
